Is there an easy way to monitor streams to gauge when hard drive space is becoming scarce?

The parameters to monitor the free space of disks and memory are all surfaced through our standard SNMP interface. Warnings in the UI are surfaced when overall cluster disk space is more than 75% and 90% used.
