How do I prevent my disks from going idle?

Configuring Full Performance only prevents the node from going idle. It does not prevent the disks from going idle. When the node goes idle, the HP stops during the idle period and makes it more likely that the disks will also go idle.
To prevent a disk from going idle even during Full Performance mode, configure the following:
disk.standbyTimeout = 0
Reboot the node to affect the change as usual.
