How does a Swarm system handle a UPS event?

The UPS in a data center or a server room typically provides power to multiple computers. Since it is a shared resource in these settings, we recommend that it is monitored by a customer's normal enterprise monitoring console. In the event that power loss is eminent due to low batteries, SNMP shutdown commands should be issued to all Swarm nodes. We recommend that this process be automated.
