How to update the cluster's Technical Contact

Be sure to set and keep updated the technical contact email address for your cluster. This contact will receive daily summaries of the cluster's health status.

Reboot required

A reboot of each node is required for this setting to take effect.

The email address must be in one of these forms:

user@host.domain
Full Name <user@host.domain>

This is the setting to update:

snmp.sysContact = [email address]

Update the setting where it resides in your implementation:

CSN — Edit /var/opt/caringo/netboot/content/cluster.cfg.
Non-CSN — Edit the node.cfg on the USB key.
Non-CSN PXE server — Edit the configuration file you are using.
