Transactional Data
Transactional Data
Can I store my transactional database or other transactional stores like an Exchange server in Swarm?
Swarm was specifically designed to store fixed, persistent content of all kinds and not transactional and DBMS data. It is not recommended for real-time storage of a transactional system but can be used as a way to backup and archive transactional systems. Alias (or anchor) streams are designed to provide update capability for an object (like a database backup) that benefits from having the same UUID identifier for content that changes over time. See the Swarm Guide for more information on utilizing alias (mutable) streams.
