Swarm Rep Bid of 255

Question: What does rep bid of 255 mean?  We have plenty of memory and disk space available!
Answer: 255 means NOBID.  It can happen when volumes are retired (or otherwise unavailable) or its disk journal (different from available, writable disk space) or index space is too full.
