Since we have multicasting protocol between nodes, do we need a router and switch that can be configured with multicast?

All nodes in the cluster must be able to hear the multicasts of all other nodes in the cluster. It is required that traffic on the SCSP port (default 80) is allowed to pass to and from the client networks. Also, depending upon the location of administration or monitoring nodes, you may need to allow them to pass SNMP traffic.
