This section describes how to set up and configure a storage cluster. To upgrade an existing storage cluster, see How to Upgrade Swarm.

For installing Swarm for the first time, the general path depends on the configuration:

CSN with GatewayCSN, no GatewayNo CSN
  1. Download CSN/Swarm from the Downloads section on the DataCore Support Portal.
  2. Run the CSN bundle script.
  3. Boot the cluster.
  4. For CSN with Gateway, Install Elasticsearch.
  1. Then, Install Gateway (with Swarm UI
    and Content UI).

  • Boot the cluster.
    • To have 
    1. For CSN with no Gateway, have a local Swarm UI on the CSN
