Purpose

This software bundle contains individual components of the DataCore Swarm cloud and object storage platform for use with Swarm Storage version 14.1. Components are suitable for individual installation or upgrade. Swarm 14.1 was released in April 2022. The third update is a complete accumulation of components released since that time. See also Swarm 14 Highlights.

Swarm components not included in this bundle:

• FileFly – Data management system for Windows Server and NetApp NAS. See the DataCore support download page for FileFly downloads.

• SwarmFS – NFS file to object protocol converter. See the DataCore support download page for SwarmFS downloads.

We recommend using an HTTP or S3 library of your choice and connecting through your content gateway.

What’s New in the Bundle?

This bundle is similar to Swarm bundle 14.1 Update 2, but with the following differences:

• Content Gateway 7.10.0 is new in this bundle, see Content Gateway 7.10 Release. Includes Hybrid Cloud repatriation, support for Azure hybrid cloud endpoints, and more efficient delimiter listings.

• Swarm Content UI 7.7.0 is new in this bundle, see Content UI 7.7 Release. Includes support for Hybrid Cloud repatriation.

• Swarm Cluster Services (SCS) 1.3.0 is new in this bundle, see Swarm Cluster Services 1.3 Release Notes. Includes bug fixes.

• Updated the tar file of Podman-related RPM packages that must be installed for SCS.

• The Storage UI 3.4.0 RPM has a minor build update, see Storage UI 3 Release.
