Repeat the process defined here to create multiple buckets with various Erasure Coding policies and S3 tokens valid for different periods of time.
Once backup repositories are set up and configured, no additional management tasks are required for the Swarm bucket. You can allow Veeam to manage the content in this bucket during normal operations.
Create a Test Backup Job
Let’s create a test backup job using Swarm as the backup repository. If you haven’t done so already, follow Veeam’s guidelines for adding organizations representing the Microsoft Office 365 environment.
Now, create a simple backup job for a specific file/folder using the Swarm target. Once the job has finished, select the Home tab and then click on “Last 24 Hours” to confirm that the job has been completed successfully.
From the Swarm Content Portal, navigate to the bucket chosen for the backups and verify that new backup files have been added by Veeam.
