    2. Select an access IP as static either Static or DHCP for the storage IP.

      1. For a If static IP addressis selected, provide the access IP with a network mass subnet address and network gateway IP address. Add the number of DNS servers required.For DHCP, an IP address is assigned by the SCS.mask.

  7. Click Add. It adds the host node on the Gateway. Repeat steps 2 to 6 to add more host nodes.

  8. Click Next to add the authentication method.

  9. Select an authentication method as per the authentication type configured on the customer’s VM. The drop-down contains LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, or PAM methods.

  11. As per the authentication method configured, define an authentication policy with the root user allowed to the SCS application. Select a username and group name of the selected authentication method servera root-level policy allowed for the Swarm cluster.

  12. Provide the list of users and/or groups allowed to access the cluster.

  13. Click Install. It installs the gateway and launches VM.

While defining authentication policies for PAM, the user is predefined as admin (account provided initially on the SCS configuration)If PAM authentication is selected, user is created in the local gateway with the username/password provided while configuring SCS node. By default, access policy is defined with the newly created username.
