Add Search Feed
Must-Have Settings
The user must review search.enableDelimiterPath, search.enableCustomMetadataTyping and search.numberOfShards settings prior to creating a new search feed, (see https://caringo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/public/pages/2443811510). Each of these settings has implications for Elasticsearch space usage over time.
Gateway must be restarted when the primary search feed is changed in Swarm Storage.
Add search feeds to the Swarm cluster by referring to the following steps:
Login to Swarm Storage Management UI. For example, a cluster URL is:
http://172.16.33.16:91/_admin/storage
Use the same administrator username and password provided during SCS configuration.
Select Storage Management.
Navigate to Cluster > Feeds from the left navigation pane.
Click +Add.
There are three types of feeds that can be added through Swarm Storage UI. Select Search - Metadata feed to add a Search feed.
Enter a Search feed name and IP addresses of the target Elasticsearch cluster.
Click Save to create a Primary feed as shown below:
The Swarm cluster begins populating metadata to the Elasticsearch Cluster.
Info
Use Dashboard from the UI to monitor the progress.
