Clock error stops FileFly agents from performing tasks

FileFly agents in either gateway or migration mode may fail to run tasks with the following error message:

Error: Excessive clock discrepancy - fix time synchronization Clock skew: 7197 seconds 

To resolve clock skew

  1. Check the time synchronization state for the Windows domain.

  2. Configure an accurate external / internal NTP server to serve as the time source for the domain.

  3. Manually change the time settings for the server agent in question.

  4. Important: Verify it is the same time of the FileFly Admin server.

  5. Restart the caringo filefly-agent services when the time issues are resolved on all servers showing the error.
