DataCore Swarm Status for Veeam Backup and Replication Version 13

Overview

This article provides guidance on the current compatibility status of DataCore Swarm with Veeam Backup and Replication version 13.

Compatibility Status

DataCore Swarm is compatible with Veeam Backup and Replication version 13 when used with Swarm 17.0.5 or later and Content Gateway 8.3.2 or later.

You can deploy, operate, and validate Veeam v13 with supported DataCore Swarm releases in accordance with standard DataCore deployment guidance.

Veeam Ready - Capacity Tier Support

DataCore Swarm is Veeam Ready for Capacity Tier and is intended to be used as a Capacity Tier repository within a Veeam Scale-Out Backup Repository (SOBR). Using Swarm as a Capacity Tier member of a SOBR is the preferred and supported deployment model for Veeam Backup and Replication version 13.

Supported Veeam Versions

The following Veeam versions are supported with DataCore Swarm:

• Veeam Backup and Replication v13

• Veeam Backup and Replication v12.x (earlier supported releases)

For production deployments, always use Veeam versions that are officially supported and documented by DataCore.
