1. Download the Swarm Installer from the DataCore website. It downloads Installer in the zip file format.

2. Extract the package.

3. Double click on Swam Preinstaller for initiating the installation.

4. Provide vCenter credentials and click Next.

   1. vSphere Server - Host server name.

   2. vSphere User - Host server username.

   3. vSphere Password - Host server password.

5. Provide vCenter Infrastructure details to confirm where to install the SCS VMware node then click Next.

   1. Datacenter - Enter the datacenter Datacenter name based on region and availability to install the SCS 2.0node.

   2. Datastore - Disk available on the host for storage.

   3. ESX host FQDN - Enter the ESX hostname.

   4. Management Network - Public network

   5. Pxeboot network - Choose a private network for Pxebooting configuration.

6. Provide the below details to install the SCS node:

   1. Enter the hostname and domain name for the SCS node.

   2. Select the IP as DHCP or Static IP.

      1. For static IP;

         • Management IP - An IP address of for the private network along with a public network and its network mask.

         • Gateway - IP address of the Gateway.

         • DNS servers - Add one or multiple DNS servers depending on the requirements.

      2. For DHCP, an IP address is gets assigned by the SCSautomatically.

7. Click Submit.
   Wait for a few seconds until the installation succeeds. This installation process also creates a VM templateThis creates a template VM followed by a VM for the SCS node and assigns the configured IP address. Wait for the installation to complete.

8. Click Connect to SCS Node to launch the Swarm Installer.
